The HiP30's stability calculations, which are subject to confirmation after practical testing, have showed that the high ballast ratio, low centre of gravity and the yacht's clever design contribute to a very high angle of vanishing stability.

The calculations also show that due to the coachroof 's shape, the HiP30 should be self righting, providing all hatches are closed.

The standard self draining cockpit also contributes to the yacht's safety and the estimated STIX value shows a figure in excess of the minimum requirements of an RCD category A yacht.
